Before anyone asks I have searched the forum, but havent found anything im after really.

Ive got a 106 gti and purchased some GTI-6 calipers. As its the 106 I need the 306 discs and pads also.

Ive been searching and heard some reviews of the DS2500 pads. Also heard that the OE brembo discs arent too bad with them either.

I want something that will be good for fast road use and im hoping to do a track day or two this year. Read that this combination worked a treat.

My question is where can i get these discs and pads for a decent price as im struggling!

Many thanks

Discs from GSF, not sure about the pads.

Although it's no longer available new, it's worth trying to get hold of a good example second-hand. As GTi's get tubbier and cooler, it's nice to remind yourself of why insurance companies hate hot-hatches so much.-Top Gear on the 6 Apr '01. Black 6

You can get the DS5200s from Demon-Tweeks but make sure you shop around as they are quite expensive.

Everybody seems to rate them and they'll be even more effective on a 106. Yes

For a lighter 106 I'd just go for decent standard as DS5200s are like £90. But then again I've never used them so I don't know how good they are.

DT have cheaper brembo vented discs? Dunno How much?

BTW the set up you are after will be stonkingly good for the 106. You will see and feel a noticeable difference. If you want yet more improvements then get some braided brake lines along with them and you will be laughing Thumbs up
