Well after checking my switch nnd motor for drivers window as it's not working so I thought I would check out the loom...........

This is what I found.....No wonder it's not working Shock

So..... complete strip down of drivers door loom and re-wired will be happening starting tonight.

Unsure not good mate.

I Think this is a common problem. I noticed in the folder of receipts that I got with my 6, that there was an invoice for replacing both door looms. I have also noticed a few threads about it. Try a search, you might pick up some tips on the repair.

    Thanks Scott

Will have a little search on door loom threads now. Doorcard is now off and all connections off so working out what wire does what with my multi-meter......proving fun! Typing away here with a nice slice on my thumb!
