Reach up under the brake pedal. There is a small white switch IIRC is surrounded by rubber. Make sure that isn't getting jammed. It could even be the switch housing that is knackered. The housing can sometimes rust or crack but that isn't as common.________________________________________ Racing driver, fighter pilot, astronaut, compulsive liar. |

see where the cage has the bar running parallel to the dash, right through the steering column surround? it's in there! so might need help off someone with tiny fingers or lie on your back in the footwell with a torch. it's a white and black push-in sensor with a plug at the back ________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

as far as i remember the plug is just two wires, nothing else.. this is on my p1 though, not sure on the p2/p3, doubt it'd change though ________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |
