Well my passenger window decided to do something really strange. It went down fine......but did not come back up Sad

So when home I took the door card off and tried to see what was going on. The elec window switch was making a nice 'click' noise but window still not rising. I felt the motor and it was red hot so disconected it. Due to living in Milton Keynes I needed the window up so had to do something fast......I cut both of the metal cord's thus allowing me to move the window up by hand and have wedged a bit of cardboard in.......jsut hoping it will stay up.....Any ideas what has gone wrong?

The switch contacts can cause trouble. I've had to clean or replace the window switches on a 306 and a 406 because of that sort of problem. Unfortunately, it sounds like you need a new motor too now Eric. Doh
