It would be easier into an XU shell but you'll have to do some DIY with the mounts on either. The biggest problem will be the management. You'll need to use aftermarket management as the multiplexed ECU is near impossible to get running without the rest of the BSI system. ________________________________________ Rich |

doubt it very much. most things need an element of fabrication, i dont even know what engine code it is but i bet it wont fit anywhere nearly as easy as it looks/sounds________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

Reading this :"206GTi138 engine into a 205. But the enginemounts are the same on 205 and 405. And the enginemounts on the 138 and 180 are also identical. We had the problem of the engine sitting not straight as well and modified the upper enginemount." http://forum.405mi16.com/lofiversion/index.php/t20.html is the ZX16V Mounting the same as the 205 / 405 ? ________________________________________ French military victories?Did you mean French military defeats? |

Wouldn't be worried about mounting it as that can be overcome, the electrics are your biggest problem by far.________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

Depends what models of 205 and 405. The upper mounts should be the same on all XU engined cars.________________________________________ Rich |

yes it will be exactly the same points as a 205, so all the solutions found there apply here.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

more issues : i'v been told that i need also the BE4 gearbox as well , the RFK sits in 15degangle while the XU stretch it's bottom into 30 deg the BE3 won't cope with that. ________________________________________ French military victories?Did you mean French military defeats? |

BE4 fitment is easy, just use original 306 driveshafts, straight in.fit 306 lever arms to gearbox if needed, unsure if they are. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

what you mean by "original 306 driveshafts"isn't the ZX16V driveshafts identical ? what is lever arm ? i'm a bit confused, i'v talked with a friend who claim that i could use the original ECU after he will crack the immobilizer then other guy told me that it won't help since i'll have to rewire also the dashboard and every electric component to the ECU with the multiplex . ________________________________________ French military victories?Did you mean French military defeats? |
