Yup, looks like it's leaking from the crank seal. Mine weeps slightly from there too, not enough to affect the oil level. I'll sort it as and when the gearbox needs to come off. ________________________________________ You feed beefburgers to swans. It will have to wait until the summer when I can afford to have the car off the road for a while. Hopefully I won't puncture the radiator again ________________________________________ Standard Black 6Black HBSC6 |

Looks the same as my bottem end mate.I had a gearbox oil leak contributing to the mess over the winter; leaky driveshaft seal sorted mine out. And I was leaking coolant from where I had done away with the interior matrix and pipework and replaced it with a 'U' bend. Although the crank seal seems the most likly tbh, and im sure mine is weeping slightly tbh. Smell it; gearbox oil stinks, engine oil isnt too bad, and coolant I couldnt smell at all! ________________________________________ Long live the Sigma 6Team Phase 1 supercharged XBL ID: farmer uk1 |
