Looking on ebay friday night i stumbled across this ram air induction kit on ebay.

not used a closed one before, but used a ramair before and thought it to be much better than k&n or such that ive used before.

well if you get a cold air feed to it, then fair does.

if not, you have just wasted £45 to make your engine more sluggish.

If it just bolts onto the throttle body you will loose torque but gain a bit at the top end.

See if you can extend the induction pipework.

Well the plan was to use a 45 deg piece of samco from the t/body to the filter and have the cold air feed running from the fog light to the filter...

I did try putting the filter on my old downpipe where the standard metal air filter box attaches, but performance was worse, noticeably less torque, nice sound though.
