I seem to experience this under hard braking.

Could this be the brake bias valve being set wrong?

Feedback appreciated.

P.S. i have just fitted new suspension all around and it has made no difference only stiffened the ride.

Trail braking?

Are you braking hard as you turn into a corner and up setting the balance of the car? Or locking the rear wheels in a straight line?

There is a brake bias thing on the rear beam that seizes sometimes, you can free it of with some lube and a pair of grips!

After i fit my suspension yesterday, i drove upto around 70mph that tried braking hard.

I dont think the wheels locked up, however i did experience understeer which i corrected, leading to oversteer which i corrected but shook me a bit.

SO maybe the wheels did lock up a little..

I checked the brake bias valve too, when fitting the rear shocks, wasn't seized though Smile

by understeer I guess you were cornering?!

if so I wouldn't really try braking at 70mph, unless you have a death wish LOL

i was on a staright road when i did a brake test.

I'm not on a death wish, just wanted to test my car, i would do the same thing in an emergency (but at least i would be prepared and not panic)

Guessing by understeer you mean the car pulled to the left or right suddenly? Oversteer was probably a result of coming of the brakes sharply.

One of your calipers is probably sticking if the above is the case.

Yes that's right.

And i think you've hit the nail on the head, because a friend who was helping me once mentioned about a binding caliper.

I'll get on it, cheers bud Wink
