i got a ford boot soleniod from the breakers to do mine and wired it to the rear wiper switch... you have to move the earth tho... as when you click the switch with the earth in the same place as the rear lock, the top brake light comes on... ________________________________________ deaf in 1 eye blind in 1 ear ......307 136bhp daily drive..... 306 rallye stripped out and charged..... lee_gti6 also known as "the tit"..... stan_306gti6 also known as "stan the dick"....... |

I wired a couple of smooth boots up ive had like this.Use any black earth wire.. And as far as i remember its the pink wire for the power. Use a meter and check which wire gets power when the switch is turned. ________________________________________ Team Dirty Black... dont bother buying a solenoid theres 1 in the boot already (C/L motor) i've used the ignition live feed from the wiper plug so i need ignition on to work the boot releace, then i put a switch to earth, just connect the motor to the boot mechanism, push switch boot opens close boot motor is reset ________________________________________ All South Wales Members Click HereTeam Supercharged Black RALLYE ™ (Click Here for Build Project) MY EBAY ITEMS 07943066306 |

Use the earth wire and the grey one from two different plugs, did mine last night and now works on the rear wiper motor switch, you have to flick it on and off your self though.________________________________________ Dimma + Gt35 turbo =Solid rear beam mounts £130 07889376885 Dan |
