I'd guess if you disconnect it but it involves pulling off mirror to do it.

Have you wind screen cover?

Or alternatively don't use the first up position that activates it. Dunno

Was this standard on all phase 3's? As on my hdi I have one and it flashes in the rain, but the one up position is just the standard constant intermittent.

If it has a sensor it should be Auto.
