I seem to have alot of Grey/brown oily gunk in my cooling system. I noticed some in the intake manifold also. Oil in sump is perfect and no funny coloured smoke from exhaust! Anyone got any ideas what it might be! |

I think I know whats up. The previous owner changed the heat exchanger if I remember correctly! Gunk might still be in it sonce than. I've got it out anyhow so I'll see how it goes from now on! |

Its under the oil filter. You'll have gunk coming out for ages. Just do a couple of engine coolant flushes and take it from there. Its the cheapest option.I was getting it for aaaaaages after my heat exchanger went. The rad and matrix were full of crap. Make sure you bleed it out right afterwards ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

its not a big issue.. just get the coolant checked for gasses thosometimes standing engines can collect rust around some of the water lines but a good blast and a top up of antifreeze will sort it ________________________________________ Team Supercharged Gti-6NV Motorsport Automotive Performance Tuning 0121 448 7515 ECU Remapping/ DPF removal VAG/BMW Diag and Option Coding Peugeot Planet ECU coding/transponder programming etc www.nvmotorsport.com Facebook Page Project S6 |
