I think the first is something to do with the airbag? Controlrs or something! I'm stripping the car and want to remove the airbags so can I just disconnect and remove?

The second picture has me puzzled! Its a little black box with a large enough loom to it! Drivers side, beside the rear passenger and well hidden away.

Is it safe to just unplug the airbag unit and start tearing out airbags?

The airbags and control box is fine to remove but i wouldnt try to remove everything from the second pic.Just go for a shit before you go out in the car.lol.

I followed all the wires back and like i said its interior lights and switches, alarm sensors...

If you can get hold of a cheap phase 3 wiring loom, it relocates all of pic 2 to under the dash.

Iv had a play with phase 1,2 and 3 looms and the phase 3 looms are a much better design/location.
