That seems to be the thing, i presume you are on stock dimensions, ie, 1998cc (86x86)? that to get the power figures from them you will have to rev it reasonably hard, my engine is 88mm x 88mm so its going to be 2139cc, not only is the displacement up, but i will get better breathing from the head/seats/un-shrouding work.

Im hoping for over 220bhp but a nice gob of torque from mine when its done.

I dont want to use too high a lift or duration cam for want of keeping a wide power band and usable power, but then again i can kind of 'afford' not too because i have the cc's to counteract that, in my aim for more power.

I wish i had gone down that route but iv had the pistons and rods for ages.
