Has anyone bought an oil filter from pug to find it slightly shorter?

They are the correct one. Both me and a friend picked one up last week. Is it a darker
blue filter?

Peugeot changed the design to allow easier fitting for people with superchargers as there are now more of these than standatd 306's

I have suggested to Zac that (and as he needs one) gets an oil cooler with a filter relocation it, move the filter out of that gap as his pipes are sat on the alternator cooking when they dont need to be.

I suggest alot of things and he doesnt listen LOL:
