I'd like to get some stronger springs on the front, but the ones I have are rusty with no markings that I can see on them. Are springs usually stamped with their details anywhere, or is there a machine that will tell me their strength?

I have two sets, both bought second hand, but neither came with any info on them, the owners didn't know either. Next set will be new, but I don't want to get some that are too similar to these ones.
