Have you checked the relays in the engine bay next to the ABS unit?Think there is one in there for the headlights. Also, not sure on later phases, but on phase 1, there is a big metal resistor in the passenger wing that controls the dip/main beam. If you have it, then you will be able to see it after you remove the engine bay fusebox cover ________________________________________ My Pugrun 2007/2009 video clipsTake a look Pugrun 2007...Lose yourself Xbox Live ID: Marksixysix (Forza 3, Forza 4 PES 2010, COD 6/MW2, WRC 2010). you have fuses, the first four in the small relay box inside the engine bay. i was trying to get to the bottom of an HID issue at weekend and the p3 has no relays for the headlights as far as i am aware. my phase1 does thoughhaving said that there is a black relay in the engine bay compartment too but this looked like a fuel relay [or comparable to my bmw m3 fuel relay!] ________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

get the multimeter out, sounds like a wiring issue somewhere or it could even be like the flasher unit being knackered so it refuses to turn off full beam? does the stalk sound like it's turned it off full beam / light on the dash go out?? or flashing like the alarm? ________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

I can't ever get it to do it when I'm there - this is all coming from my brother - it's his car. I'm starting to think he's talking crap and just leaving the lights on or something stupid! (although the lights on buzzer works so he would have to be even stupider than he is to do that!!!)He says sometimes he flashes people or goes on full beam and it won't then turn off. His other story is he locks up the car and walks off and no lights are on - he then comes back later and his battery is flat and his lights are on. It just doesn't add up to me. ________________________________________ Ex 6 owner - now S2000 |

Ok guys help needed on this one again. It's obviously something to do with the wet weather as its been 100% fine for 4 or 5 months now and has just started draining the battery again. I'm not convinced its a fault with the lights that does it but that seems the obvious place to start? Anything anyone can think of that could cause this problem when its damp/wet?________________________________________ Ex 6 owner - now S2000 |
