There is a thread about the quickshift, its a pain, the lower top hat bush hits the inside of the quick shift when trying to get into 1st 2nd 5th reverse or sixth gear i had to make my own top hat bush so you get more clearance and can get into every gear with out hitting the inside of the mount. |

top hat bush probably perfectly fine unless you try and make the shift too short ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

No thats without a the gear shaft in the top hats so it doesnt matter what throw you have it set at if that makes sense. |

If you have more lever in side the car it makes it a long throw, less inside the car makes it a short throw but the pivot point stays the same. So if you have it set at long throw and its say 45 degrees to get it into gear, the bottom part of the shaft (under the car) is also at 45 degrees, the top hat is fine inside the car but the other one will foul on the inside of the cast. If you shorten the throw so the lower top hat doesnt hit you will end up with about 5 degrees inside the car which is way to short, as in you can hardly feel it move. Iv done it and so has some one else and mine works sweet now. |
