Hi,My Speedo every now and then (more and more recently) stops working after driving for a while and then suddenly starts working again. Also when it isn't working it cuts out sometimes. sounds like you need a new VSS, the speed sensor that's in the gearbox on the right hand side of the diff.you can get Valeo ones off ebay for a decent price AFAIK. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

VSS would be the first thing I would change too  Fairly easy to do, can get them new from ECP for about ________________________________________ Long live the Sigma 6 Team Phase 1 supercharged XBL ID: farmer uk1 |

i had same problem the speedo would cut out every now and then , changed the vss sensor and has been fine since !! |

Everyone says its easy to do but I have no idea where the VSS lives and the easiest way to get to it. I bought a replacement and know what I'm looking for but a cursory glance left me puzzled if Im best doing it from the wheel arch or taking the battery out or underneath  Anyone got any pics of where it is on the gearbox? |
