Hi, does anyone know how this sensor comes off? It looks like it should clip out but i don't want to force it. I'm taking it off to clean it as this may be a dodgy sensor that makes my car stall/judder every time i dip my clutch when it's cold(can happen when it's warm but not as much). I've replaced coolant temp, MAP, stepper motor and throttle position sensors. This problem is getting worse, so this is my next sensor.

Also the IAT, i've tried disconnecting it on start up and the engine ticks over fine, is that normal?

Can't help on removing the sensor but I wouldn't worry about the idle not being affected by disconnecting it. It will be a secondary sensor when the ECU is calculating the injector pulses, the main ones being the Coolant Temp and Throttle position. The air temp will only be used to make minor adjusments.

It has 2 plastic clips on the sides of the part that dissapears into the throttle body, only way is to pull it really as i dont think you can push them in from inside the TB, but they are only a few quid each Wink you wont damage the TB, just break one of the clips on the sensor.

I have recently had the same problem just starting to occur on mine and have already replaced loads of sensors so this will be done soon.
