You have 4 rubber mounts that hold your rear suspension to the car, They can wear out or break which causes the rear beam to knock. If you have a look at faq under suspension there is a guide there that shows you what they look like and how to replace them. |

hi havent had a proper look at the mounts, checked the exhaust and spare wheel cage but they seem secure, how would i check to see if its the mounts that are gone, also correct me if i am wrong is there four mounts on the rear suspension to change??? sorry just new to forum and would rather attempt from the FAQ and get experience and satisfaction of doing it myself than shell out for a garage |

You won't be able to tell from just looking, but experience tells me that it is exactly what is up. Look for my post entitled "seen better days".You'll see what the difference between new and old is! |
