Hello
I have a problem with my GTi-6 intermittently running on 3 cylinders, diagnostics has report the coil pack 2 is at fault.
Can any one advice how the coil packs are numbered, so I know which one to replace?

number one is flywheel end.

easy to confirm though, take the coilpack cover off, start the engine then unplug each coilpack in turn, whichever does not cause a change is the culprit.

My car was intermittently running on 3 cylinders, the error log show a problem with coil pack 2.
I've now replaced the 2nd coil pack in from the flywheel end and all appears to be ok at the moment
