Hi Guys / Gals

My battery light has illuminates every time i start the car and i have 2 electrical issues.

1) none of the window switches work luckily the windows are closed

2) the fuse that does the, Instrument panel - Clock - Windows and heated seat relay - Rear wiper -Courtesy light keeps blowing

so these two could be related - however on the P3 fuse box FAQ there is also the following:

16 30A Front windows and sun roof relay

is fuse 16 just for the relay? and if so any ideas on what could be causing the other fuse to blow?

thanks

a dead short would cause the fuse to go, possibly damaged door looms.

regarding problem 2:

remove each item from the circuit and see if fuse still blows. eg remove rear wiper plug, boot light bulb, clock connection etc and it should show what thing is giving you the bother.

rear wiper for sure, so much stuff on that fuse. The blue relay gets wet and corrodes, so when you swap it out i cable tied mine inside a doubled over plastic bag. Smile

I answered my own question on this, i just removed the relay and everything else works fine now.

Might clean the rust bits and try putting it back on again to see if it lasts.

Cheers
