Right this isn't a question about a GTI-6.. My mum has a 1.8 306 Merdian (2000 W) and the engine fans are constantly on, which they didnt do when she got the car, just wondering if this is a fan fault or electrical fault and if anyone can shed some light on the problem as said they are ALWAYS on even when engine is off and ignition turn on ________________________________________ allesclar wrote: wrote: the only kind of similarities of the xsi and a 6' is if you jumble the letters round to spell six |

one of the sensors ( i think the green one) near the thermostat has gone faulty. i had the same problem. try taking it off and re connecting it, this shud shut down the fans or cause interferance. change this sensor and all should be well. |
