hi did a conversion on my r reg 1.9 turbo diesel 306 to a 2.0 8v turbo from the xm but couldnt get round the wiring so bought an already converted loom from pug1off, now im reshellin the engine as the shell is past its date and was wondering if the chassi plug is the same on the gti6 models or would i need to reshell to another turbo dieselthanks  |

do you mean the round black plug that goes into a socket on the chassis leg? if so then what phase is the wiring from? i have encountered problems here, even for instance getting a loom from another car (same model/year), it wasn't as simple as just plug n play, i had to alter some wires. it sems that there are quite a few wiring variations. if your not confident with diy wiring your best bet is to send your new cars loom and the existing modified loom to pug1off or whoever can do this type of job |
