Basically scince i have brought the car i have been having ideling issues, havnt really been to bothered about it, but its slowly anoying me now, iv had a service done and changed the coilpack, iv had the ICV cleaned and the accelerator cable checked today i went to uni in telford, and dont my work and everything and mym8 was teling me to try resseting the ecu, sounded a bit daft to me, so he disconnected the battery, waited for 10 mins, then turned the lights and fans on for whatever reason and then started the car and it wouldnt start, then tried it again pressing the accelerator and then it was ok but the second you let go out the accelator the rvs drop down to 0 and the car cuts of, i therefore cudnt drive back down to birmingham to go home, i then rang rac and a engineer come out and gave me a temporary solution and her basically moved the clip or something on the accelerator cable to hold the revs, now all he said was that it sounds like a electrical problem, and this is a temporary solution, now im still having the reving problem, the revs shoot up to 2k revs when changing gear, and now i dont know what to do
