Right, I have just fitted my PAS relocation kit (for running throttle bodies) and all seemed to be fine in regards to the kit fitting etc.

Started her up, and had a quick check for leaks, all seemed fine. I decided to turn to wheel from lock to lock, just to make sure. It starts p*ssing out of the high pressure hose (at the pump end) and leaking a bit at the other end.

I tightened them up to what was stated on the instructions, so I am a little worried about tightening it more. Does any one have any ideas?

I swear people have had this problem before, greenbelt? LOL

Cheers Thumbs up

New hoses aswell or using the old ones?

If using the old ones, i'd just nip them up more. Have you bled the system first or just whacked the cap back on?

You need to make sure the steel pipe you're joining onto isn't out of round.

The one on the PAS pump outlet must not be cut too close to the bend, as the tube goes slightly oval here.

You also need to make sure the the surface of the steel tube is clean and free of corrosion etc.

You can try nipping it up a bit more, say 1/8th of a turn - but don't go too far.

If you over-tighten it you can crush the steel tube, if you do this you'll have to get a new one or try and join it in a different place.

I had to cut the high pressure pipe on a straight part, as anywhere near a bend the tube is not circular in cross section.
