Hi all,

I'm now a proud owner of a 306 Rallye and just have a couple of questions if anyone can answer them :-)

I've had 3 306's in the past and quite get my head around why in the top glove box there is a switch like a tap on a sink :-) that you can turn and cuts all the power to the car, the battery has been installed to the boot of the car - for future use of installing throttle bodies I guess?

Now if you can cut the power to the car with this switch I first thought maybe its an extra security feature that has been installed....but it cant be because when the power is off the boot cant be locked!?

Anyone got any idea on why this setup is in this car?....is it somethig for track days?

Cheers,

D^

It's an emergency cut-off switch.
