I'm not sure if anyone has done it, or if it does fit, but I'm pretty much sure it will fit.________________________________________ Chris1999 China Gti6 Supercharged [Fun car] >>Project Thread<< 2000 Bianca 306 Diesel [Work runabout] |

Well the inlet from the gti6 fits the s16, so dont see why not.Not so sure on the ancillaries bracket though. ________________________________________ Dimma + Gt35 turbo =Solid rear beam mounts £130 07889376885 Dan |

I've thought about doing it to mine but can't afford it.Although the engine mounts are different shapes the Gti 6 mount fits the S16 block so I can't see that being an issue. Infact I think your main problem will be the exhaust manifold. I just think it will be too restrictive. If you do go ahead with it though keep us updated as i'd like to see how it goes. ________________________________________ When I've got time I forget what I wanted to do, and when I remember what I wanted to do, I have no time! |

Unless you go to the GTI6 ECU (and relevant sensors, if they're different) & generic map.. or go aftermarket ECU.. ________________________________________ Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch....Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. s16 will work in terms of kit fitbut ecu as cosmic says will be tricky. No one has maapped a s16 ecu for boost that i know of plus s16 has internal map sensor so throttle body mounting will be different. i have an omex 600 here from another project i could use, but having had a quick search i don't see why the gti6 ecu wouldn't go on there along with all its sensors and wiring (and it frees the omex up for the other car) |

Doesn't the s16 use the same basic ecu as the xu10 8v turbo engine? I'm sure wayne can re-map those.________________________________________ www.bridgecraftmotorsport.co.uk |
