my drivers side electric window has decided to stop working. would it be the switch or motor? went to peugeot and just for the switch they said

Hi barbie,

Don't buy a switch just yet, cos I'm pretty sure they don't do returns on electrical items. As for diagnosis, it depends how good you are with a multimeter... Check:

Supply to the switch
Supply to the regulator from the switch

If there is a supply in both cases either there is a bad earth or the regulator is shot. If there is a supply to the switch, but not from the the switch to the regulator it'll be the switch that's shot.

It's usually the wires snapping between the car and door.
