It has not been looked after at all, just sat for about 2 years with no starts etc. I know im naughty Sad

Ok so battery is dead for a start, hooked it upto our car and electrics work fine (battery is not holding a charge either). Coolant was empty so topped that up, doesn't seem to be leaking. Put some WD40 on the cables around and about. Oil level is ok I guess it could do with a change though lol.

When I try to start it turns over but it is not firing. The engine management light is always on and so is the "STOP" light. There is still petrol in it but not sure what that is like after 2 years?

The battery is dead in the key fob.. doesn't need that to deactivate the immobiliser does it? Is this an immobiliser issue?

Is the next step to change the spark plugs?

Any guidance would be appreciated. I will most likely get a garage to look at it soon if I have no luck myself. Thanks.

The petrol won't be much cop after two years. No

Try some fresh fuel first.

Oil presure need to build up for the hydralic lifters to open how long do you turn it over for?
