Just spent over an hour reading through all the dozens of threads regarding uprated cams and my brain is now hurting.

All I'm trying to find out is what would be the best uprated inlet cam for my track car running a ported / polished head with standard pistons / valves ?

Don't really fancy posting to P Taylor down under, PT81's clearance issues ?? Catcams - Welshpug seams to like them, Piper - regrind ?? Plus am I right to think standard exhaust cam is ok as is ?

I really mean this when I say any advice will be much appreciated.

If you are just going on standard pistons PeterT's stage 1 cam is a really good option and cheapy cheap. Sound bloke and really knows his stuff. Will need a remap to run properly.

I was going to go that route but the V6 looked cheaper (at the time).
