lotek wrote: when you turn key can you hear fuel pump priming? when was it last serviced? Serviced about 3 weeks ago, with new oil filter, inc fuel filter. Pug OE parts used. When turning the key, fuel pump is priming. After the service was starting fine, this issue developed in the last couple of days. spike_uk06 wrote: Does the car misfire or hesitate or stutter when you're driving it? Neither. However i should mention that when starting it today at work it wouldnt start at all, sort of almost firing up but cuttin out immediately. Finally started on the 4th attempt. |

IIRC if the cam position sensor dies it makes them difficult to start________________________________________ When I've got time I forget what I wanted to do, and when I remember what I wanted to do, I have no time! |

Mine does this sometimes, runs fine and then just doesnt want to start - it even pops when trying sometimes.Take the key out try again and it starts just fine, im thinking it could be an ignition barrel fault, immoboliser fault or loose connection in the steering coloumn somewhere! Edit, it cant be the cam sensor or flywheel sensor because these have both been changed already! ________________________________________ Team Peugeot Sport 308 GtiBlack T'99 Gti - may she rest in peace - written off in a shunt on the A329m |

Think the SC cars take a few turns to fire anyway.. prolly cos of the charger spooling a few psi on crank..________________________________________ Team Supercharged Gti-6NV Motorsport Automotive Performance Tuning 0121 448 7515 ECU Remapping/ DPF removal VAG/BMW Diag and Option Coding Peugeot Planet ECU coding/transponder programming etc www.nvmotorsport.com Facebook Page Project S6 |

Mine had similar symptoms with a dying crank sensor (on top of the gearbox).Replaced it and it started instantly. |

ar4ibaldo wrote: Where can i find the cam sensor and fuel relay? The cam sensor is the blue sensor in the cylinder head. The fuel relay is bolted to the back of the battery/ecu housing. It sometimes breaks off though so you may find the bracket there and the relay itself hanging down from the wiring loom. ________________________________________ When I've got time I forget what I wanted to do, and when I remember what I wanted to do, I have no time! |
