Could someone point me in the right direction, basically iv been having funny idle problems so i checked the obvious culprits (changed icv) reset about four times today, but since doing all that its got even worse, if i put my foot down it judders as if i was tapping the brakes hard when accelerating,
And taking your foot off the pedal when in gear i get slight pops from underneath. Could a naff cat or lambada be these symptoms. Don

Check your getting a good air flow with no block's and also it sound's very likely to be something within the fuel system. Take the petrol pipe of the fuel rail and put the ignition on and see if you have a steady flow. Also injectors could be fubbared

Cheers for the reply jaydog, iv wasted my time changing icv amd lambda, and tonight iv think iv found the fault witch is one of the coilpacks, i unplugged the coilpacks one by one and started the car and came across one id took out and it was running perfect and the rest where struggling to idle.

Check your plugs. Pete26 just ice the same thing and put in new iridium plugs and some 2nd hand coil packs and it cured it. Its worth doing your plugs anyway and maybe getting a club member over to try his coils on yours on yours if plugs dont cure it. Smile
