does anyone use this? looking at using Total quarts energy 9000 0w 30 oil for the next oil change. Is anyone else using a different to normal oil through winter? |

Personally I would stick to at least a ?W40 oil (or ?W50 for a track car/high temps), the 0w30 is quite a bit thinner than the "book" spec at operating temperatures. And it's the first number you;re looking at for winter/at cold startup.0w40, 5w40, great.. 10w40 fine.. but not 0w30. ________________________________________ Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch....Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. Total Quart 7000 FTW (10W40) My engine is mint inside, hardly any staining at all, I know cos I'm doing the headgasket and dropped the sump off and checked the bearings ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

i ran a set of shells with comma 5w 30 or something.purple royal racing 51 or silkolene racing red 15-50 both good stuff like ________________________________________ In my garage just now2003 BMW M3 & 2009 L200 Raging Bull & Audi Q5 S Line AX stock rod & Saxo Stock rod Sold the bike an charged rallye an bought a caravan, midlife crisis or what! |

The halfords stuff is ok for a road car, I used it.Stripped the engine at 98k and was still like new inside. Jim just forgot to change the oil |
