Billie B8's seem to be the shocks of choice and what I'm going for when I can be arsed to order them.Couple them with Eibach springs (which lower ~30mm) and you'll be fine. ________________________________________ My old man wrote me a letter from prison once. OE type but firmer and with shorter rods on the fronts. They're a good compromise for a road / track car but TBH they're a little too soft for focused track car. ________________________________________ Rich |

I would say KW V2 coilovers with a stiffer spring would be a great front setup for track. Also thicker rear arb and Koni/KW rear dampers without breaking the bank. |

I have Avo dampers with Eibach springs on a 30mm drop, and seems like a good fast road/trackday setup. There is adjustable damping control so you can set it differently from track and road. ________________________________________ Chris1999 China Gti6 Supercharged [Fun car] >>Project Thread<< 2000 Bianca 306 Diesel [Work runabout] |

The eibach / Bilstein B8 combo is a good one. Couple that with new beam bushes, new P bushes and a SPOOX/Ash hybrid ARB and it'll work very well. Might be a little soft for a track only car - you really want to be spending a bit/lot more and getting a good coilover setup (KW/AST).Also invest in some lightweight 15" x 7" wheels with the correct offset ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |
