Hey guys, thought i'd put up a little project thread.

I bought this car two years ago with 75k on, then sold it to my mate and he sold it to his brother and now i've bought it back, it had seized brakes, dodgy track rod, budget tyres, blowing exhaust... you get the idea.

The aim was for this to be my track car, i had a 250 BHP CTR with a quaife and everything but going to uni each day was pointless so i've bought a bora tdi and the rallye and banked the rest.

Me and my friend have decided to kind of share the rallye to although it is my car.

Anyway, enough rabbiting excuse the dirtyness..

Everything is sorted,
new brakes all round, standard rears, mintex 1155's and brembo discs up front, Braided lines here but not fitted yet.
Lowered 40mm for now on springs till i get my AST's.
Fully stripped out
2 x Sparco Circuit Pro's with side mounts and custom rail to allow driver seat to move
TRS 3 " 4 point harnesses with aerocatch
Rally design 2" dished suede wheel and OMP boss
Speedline JMags with michelin Exalto's (Not here yet)
Cyclones with r888's here ready to be fitted
Pugsport exhaust and de-cat

To fit this week hopefully as i'm at Bedford on the 30th in it.

Solid engine mounts
16 row oil cooler

Over at Carls Weds to check over the car and check it doesnt need any work before hand.

Anyway, sorry for the poor pictures excuse the dirtynress but it's all i could get..

Just putting this in here so i don't miss it.

List of things to do over the next 2 weeks

Engine out and new bottom end fitted.

Whilst engine is out hopefully get car back home, spray engine bay
Fit and run wires for small battery
Spray interior and remove tar from floor
Black mask headlights
Modify the front bumper to aid cooling
Skin bonnet and fit bonnet pins
Remove all wiring that's not needed
Possibly modify dash if it's going to aid weight loss

Busy time ahead, well once i get the car back, need to just check this will be ok with Carl first

Mainly because if they were to shatter for any reason and the pieces hold together i can reseal it. If i lose the pieces i can't.

Usually it's only done when your headlights are glass to prevent it going all over the place Big grin

What was up with the engine in the end? Was it HGF?

I was there that afternoon when you were at Carl's getting some bad news, looking for the train station. Shock I'd have offered a lift but you were going the opposite way. LOL

Not sure in the end thought it was HG but it didn't turn out to be so fitted a recon head anyway, didn't fix it so it's having basically a brand new bottom end now Smile

Up for sale too, figured i may aswell sell it while it's in it's best condition with 12 months MOT and full tax etc

think the tyre paint helps break up the wheels a bit normaly find with black wheels it spoils the lines some times but good stuff
