Hi,

I'd left my 6 over Xmas and new year for 4 weeks parked on the driveway while. Went to start it when I got back an no luck.

- Charged battery (Turns over fine)
- ECU restet
- Getting fuel from fuel rail with ignition on (and can hear pump on start up)
- Can't see any spark.

Forum wisdom says check the crank sensor. So after fiddling around for an age to get that off (don't even want to think about getting that 10mm bolt back in!!) how to I test the sensor? A multi-meter on each wire is showning open circuits between all wires. I assume this is a hall effect sensor so I would have thought I'd have got at least 1 circuit (and another when the sensor was close to metal.)

Any pointers on testing this (not really keen on shelling out cash on a sensor I may not need).

Any other suggestions for the non-start?

Ta,
Matt
