I can see this being either fuel pump, PAS sensor, injectors, fuel filter (although surely the fault would occur more often), engine temp sensor, contaminated fuel?
Any help most welcome

Intermittent problem ... When driving along sometimes the car just dies. if i keep the accelerator pedal in exactly the same place without lifting off the car then picks up after a few seconds.I can see this being either fuel pump, PAS sensor, injectors, fuel filter (although surely the fault would occur more often), engine temp sensor, contaminated fuel? Any help most welcome |

Try un-plugging the PAS sensor and go for a drive, and see what happens mate...If it's still the same, then plug it back in and do the same with the lambda. Stan. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

How could a faulty PAS sensor cause the engine to cut out?________________________________________ 306 GTI-6205 GTI-6 Project 205 1.6 GTI - RIP 205 1.9 TT - RIP E39 535i - Daily driver *Newest edition* E60 M5 5l v10 - The weekend car |

Cus the engine ecu has to see what pressure the pas fluid is under in order to match the revs so it doesnt cut out under heavy steering.... if the ecus seeing an incorrect/faulty reading then it cant adapt the revs to match hence why it might cut out.... however i cant see it being bad enough to stall whilst driving at mid range revs?? |
