hass any 1 got a pic of the engine loom either gti-6 or xsara vts on the engine with out the inlet on? reason i ask is i have no plug to go on the sensor by the oil filter (see pic) just wondered if it was different on the xsara loom compared to the gti

kant quite see im trying to work out if both the sensor behind the starter and the one by the filter r both connected?dont spose uv seen?

If i remember correctly Smile

The plugs should all be colour coordinated with the relevent sensors.

You can see in my pics that ther is a green plug, this isnt the one that goes on that white sensor, it should be a white plug.

on later cars that plug was not used as there isn't a gauge or warning light for it, even if the sensor is fitted, many engines even had two identical sensors fitted.

You need to work out which plug is for your oil warning light on dash if you haven't got oil pressure gauge????
If you've got oil pressure gauge you need to fit the sensor from an earlier car to the blanked off hole in the Xsara blockSmile
