Hiya,

Randomly the interior fan kicks on inside the car. As well as this there is no heat when you switch the controls to the red zone. The controls also refuse to work randomly, no lights appearing on the AC or circulation and you have to hit the dials for it to work.

Any Ideas of whats wrong?

Ta

hi might be worth checking the connection on the back of the control panel and the wiring to it as i had this problem and it was the connector as it worked if you held it in place.Big grin

Mine turned out to be the relay not quite sitting in its plug properly... So cleaned the contact points up and slotted it home and hey presto its working again...although the Air con refuses to kick in to life not worried till the summer...

Relay?

The symptoms are weird, when it happens (if the car lights are on) the heater panel goes dark, and the fans go to full speed. Hitting the left hand side seems to bring things back to normality. Unplugging and plugging back in hasn't fixed it.
