YAY! another noise. it's been a cracking month for me. no sooner have i fixed the grindy noise from the front (turned out to be a shitload of rust on the brake disc) i have now got a rythmic noise coming from inside the cambelt cover. i'm assuming this means cambelt change ASAP?? ________________________________________ Never underestimate the power of De-Nile.Friday afternoon car, built in France.... 306gti6.com Stickers available, pm me for details. or email MjStones83@hotmail.com Sticker Thread with pics |

don't know tbh mate. the kid i bought it off never mentioned anything about all that stuff. his mate who works in an alfa garage did it apparently. it's deffo coming from inside the cam cover tho, not the aux belt. i'm scared to even start it up again to hear it! is it the belt or could it be something else? i have no idea with shit like this and i don't want to end up with a bust engine like on my Dturbo.________________________________________ Never underestimate the power of De-Nile.Friday afternoon car, built in France.... 306gti6.com Stickers available, pm me for details. or email MjStones83@hotmail.com Sticker Thread with pics |

I'd take the cover off asap then tbh!if it was done before you bought it there's a chance that just a belt alone was chucked on. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

any ideas about what it could be? i mean, it'll be a garage job cos it's beyond my level of expertise so if they have to start messing about with that would i be better off getting the whole thing done? sorry for my stoopidity!________________________________________ Never underestimate the power of De-Nile.Friday afternoon car, built in France.... 306gti6.com Stickers available, pm me for details. or email MjStones83@hotmail.com Sticker Thread with pics |

Its more than likely your water pump or even the tensioner. Take no chances, get a new kit and water pump fitted bud.________________________________________ *jay81.Phase 2.5/S-99 Team i live for working,Paying bills and funding my hobbies.
