I found loads of crimping tools but they don't look like they'll manage the way the tags are folded around.

Can anyone point me to the tool I need to crimp the terminal on the left the same way as the terminal (with the broken wire still in it ) on the right?I found loads of crimping tools but they don't look like they'll manage the way the tags are folded around. |

Needle nose pliers will do, otherwise it's special crimpers like the Ref PR4 on this link. I just tend to use pliers if i'm not at the workshop, just fold each tab over slightly first, then i use some mole grips on them at the end to really pinch them up. ________________________________________ Seat Leon Cupra FR / 306 GTI6 / Breaking 205 GTI6 / Caterham 7 / Mercedes Sprinter 311CDI LWB Sold: Fisher Fury - Laguna DCI Estate - P1 306 XSI - E30 BMW 325i Baur Convertible - Daihatsu Fourtack - Suzuki GSXR600 - 205 Rallye |

I wouldn't mind investing in some proper crimpers, what about the MP71 VWP have? Thanks for the link |

Not sure if that one will do them in one hit. I've always found the ratchet crimpers to be a million times better than normal cheap ones. If you're going to invest in it, buy the decent ones, otherwise just use pliers ________________________________________ Seat Leon Cupra FR / 306 GTI6 / Breaking 205 GTI6 / Caterham 7 / Mercedes Sprinter 311CDI LWB Sold: Fisher Fury - Laguna DCI Estate - P1 306 XSI - E30 BMW 325i Baur Convertible - Daihatsu Fourtack - Suzuki GSXR600 - 205 Rallye |
