i believe that if i get set up with a bit of negative camber it will improve handling and prevent tyre scrub on trackdays. will i be bale to get this set up on the standard suspension set up? any recommendations of places to get that done in west yorkshire? any other thigs to get at the same time - toe in / out????Cheers |

You will struggle to get any negative camber with standard shocks as the spring is vert close to the inner arch as it is. You can slot the holes at the top to get a little, but you can't get a meaningfull ammount unles you swap to coilovers which allows you to lean them over further without fouling the arch due to the narrower diameter springs they run. You will also be needing some camber adjustable topmounts from someone like Compbrake etc.________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. AST or KW have various followers on here. I have AST Sportline 1s and love them. There are a few different places for adjustable top mounts. To be fair if you are currently on the standard setup then moving to something like coilovers then they will give you a lot more grip. The challenge is keeping the handling great and improving grip as well ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

You can have the hubs modified to get the camber there, where it slides over and bolts to the strut, it gets machined oversize and a sleeve put in to take the slack back up, but at the same time giving the neg camber, i dont know if the sleeve is the part that gives the camber, or the machining of the hub. I 'think' tis is what skip brown can do, but dont quote me on that. |

Fairly pointless on otherwise standard suspension though imo. I'm sure Martin (CRF450) has machined some hubs for more negative camber.________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

a little more camber would help on cornering, but reducing roll with better dampers and springs will go some way to reducing the loss of camber as the car rolls.a downside of adding camber is that the contact patch of the tyre is smaller in a straight line so hurts acceleration and braking grip. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
