I'd go with black. Looks better if you can't really see the backplates imo. Yes

Did you get them from Pug?

How much did they cost, if you don't mind me asking?

For both or each?

Even if it's each, I would have thought they would be a lot more than that.

New they are silver so i'd paint them silver, especialy as your calipers will be silver. Thats what I did.

At the end of the day it's up to you what colour you paint them, it's your car.

Slightly different to my PM but if you have them off the car and they are new you could use some decent spray paint instead Yes

well i have just bought a can of silver brake caliper spray paint for the back plates and a tin of hammerite smooth red for the calipers.i think that will give it a good clean look on a white car.

hopefully all the work is being done this weekend so i will get some pictures up when its done/being done Thumbs up

did them silver , went out while they dried on the back yard and it rained :-(
sanded it down and repainted them and it reacted and looks worse, i think i used a brake fluid soaked rag by accident to clean them before repainting doh.

I did a similar thing when i was refurbing my wheels. It turns out car shampoo is not a wise thing to wash the dust off with before painting, I think its got silicon in it which reacts with the paint Doh
