Hmm, Have a look at the brown plug in front of the PAS pump. Does it do it when the aircon button is on? Or all the time?________________________________________ Ex SC-6Now in a Megane R26 |

My wifes DT had the same problem though both fans would run flat out - sounds like a hovercraft ready to take off! Oddly it only did it when it was damp.Anyway try removing the relays from the relay box in the V of the two fans, give the terminals a good clean and a squirt of WD40, swap the green relays over and see if the fault then transfers to the other fan, if it does then its probably a contact inside welded itself together. If not then there is a fan electronic control box inside the passenger wheel arch at the front above the alarm siren. Unbolt and unplug it and give the connector plug and the control box terminals a clean and spray, check for corrosion of the terminals. ________________________________________ Previous Peugeot - 2000(w)GTI-6, Me old China, Supercharged with working aircon! |

I think as these cars get older that Bitron control box will cause a lot more problems, its worth doing somepreventative maintenance and clean the contacts then grease accordingly. ________________________________________ Previous Peugeot - 2000(w)GTI-6, Me old China, Supercharged with working aircon! |
