Over the past couple of days, when I'm driving along I've noticed that one of the relays (under the steering wheel) keeps on clicking away every so often, sometimes at an alarming rate.

I haven't seem to have lost any functions - all indicators, front wipers and other electrics function fine so I'm at a bit of a loss at what the problem is about from the annoying noise. And possibly a bigger failure whilst sitting in the middle of a snow storm! Unsure

Can anyone help in identifying:

1) Which one of the relays is at fault. Can I run a meter check on the relays to confirm if they work/don't work?

2) What each one of the relays do

I recall there used to be a picture someone had put on the site identifying each relay but I can't seem to find it Sad

Thanks for any help Thumbs up

Cheers guys. Is there any way of checking whether this is the case? Unsure

And dare I ask how difficult is it to change over the indicator stalk...and how many notes? Dry

I don't recall seeing a FAQ so maybe it is about time I did one having been a member here for quite a few years! Smile

Easy, undo the 3 steering cowl screws and remove top and bottom pieces. Then undo the two screws holding it in and disconnect connector. Dependant on your steering column position you may need to lower the column so you can slide the unit out.

Simples.
