iirc the pressure should be slightly higher than in summer tyres.I'm not aware of psi values, but the pressure ought to be 0.2bar higher than normal. ________________________________________ Team WheelwhoreTeam Limited Edition Astor 306 Francorchamps RIP Virtual Blue 208 GTi quote: I this place. Got Alpins on the 406 steel spares we have and Blizzaks/Contis going on the volvo. Really they are bloody cheap for 4 months of driving - £25 a corner for 6mm tyres on the 406, £40 for 5.5mm on the volvo. ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

Well I've now got the winter tyres on the rear, nothing to do with the weather just had a flat on my way home, managed to hobble back having stuffed some air in them but I'm certainly not going to bother rushing out to buy an expensive new tyre for the sake of having the winters wear a bit more. Tell you what though, it's well worth checking your tyres properly. My rears looked fine from the outside, and plenty of tread. It was only when I took them off I thought they looked a bit plasticy, then took them off to find these little beauties on the inside rim. Oh well, looks like I'll be replacing those in the spring then. Summer 18s on the front and winter 16s on the rear ftw! ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |
