Well i have been umming and aring regards the ride height of the car but personnally for me it was sitting way too low, i decided to do something about it and now it clears the hump coming out of the garage and the lower trim on the bumper sits at an acceptable height, i adjusted the rear 10 and the front 25mm.
Took the old girl for an mot this afternoon, the first real chance i have had to drive it on the road and it very surprising how responsive it is.
Got to the test station 10 minutes early (its that fast
) and took some snaps, the car had a wash and a full body polish before it was let out into the rain, still looks fresh surprisingly.
Well here are the pictures just before the mot test-
As you can see in a few of the pictures the bonnet needs adjusting slightly and the back box needs altering due to it sitting that little bit lowerdue to the 406 gear lever unit and cables, as we speak now its on the ramp having these bits looked into.
A few pictures whilst in the test station-
Even the tester comented on how the conversion looks a nice neat tidy job, he especially like the new sump and nearly laughed me out the garage when i told him how much it cost me.
At first the car received a fail but after a bulb, sort the washers out and a few exhaust rubbers i got a pass.
Might take it home tonight, the v6 hum is addictive.
Just got to get the interior cleaned, may give this a valetor to do as Lee kindly mentioned there were some white stains on the passenger seat i dont really want to get stuck into
Carl
