i gotta get my old diesel mot'd and sold but i need to change the rear brakes. i know its not a gti6 but was wondering if anyone knows what size the castle nut is as i am gonna have to borrow 1 from work.

Usually the rear hubnut is 32mm, but it's worth checking as I have seen the odd one that's been 30mm before now.

Same as above mate its a 32mm, make sure you get replacement hub nuts and caps, meant to only use then once. When you undo the nut before you refit it make sure you wipe the swarf off of the threads otherwise can land you in a threaded nightmare.
