I have been told my rear caliper is stuck as it makes a odd noise when the brakes are apply'd. I have a new caliper and an going to clean it up before its fitted. As iv never stripped a caliper what should I check?

Wind the piston right out and clean off any dried out grease. Ensure piston seal is in good nick, wind back in with new grease under the seal. Check the 4 slider boots too, and ensure there is adequate grease in there too.I'd recommend red rubber grease personally. ________________________________________ I'm Si btw![]() Night Blue VW Golf GTD Bianca LBSC Rallye - Track/Road Slag Project Thread Sparkling Silver Mini Cooper D - Super Dooper - (The other half's wheels) |
